The Talmud says “To save one life is to save the world.”
The New Testament says "Greater love has no one than this that one lay down his life for his friends.”
The Quran says “If anyone saves a life, it shall be as though he had saved the lives of all mankind.”
While the equipment FireAid/EMSAid provides may not be new, it does have the capability to save a life.
That's something we can all understand.
FireAid/EMSAid accepts donations of emergency service apparatus and matches that equipment with departments in need throughout the US.

At FireAid/EMSAid, our goal is to better equip our rescuers to more safely and efficiently perform their many duties and to save lives. Firefighters and EMS workers help many every day, but sadly many of our nations first responders don’t even have the basic equipment they need. We invite you to help us save lives.
We don’t have to look far to see that the Fire Service in rural areas of the United States are in trouble. According to a report by the United States Fire Administration and the National Fire Protection Association, rural areas suffer a huge lack of equipment and training, yet these brave men and woman risk there lives while being under funded and under equipped. They put it all on the line in an effort to help others. Too often they pay the ultimate price by giving their life in an attempt to save someone else. The ultimate sacrifice of a firefighter has an even greater sting when it could have been prevented by having the proper equipment.
At FireAid/EMSAid, we want to save lives. We want to save firefighters lives, we want to save EMS workers lives, and we want to save citizens lives. We are helping by providing the tools to fire departments that otherwise can’t afford them.
Every day, millions of people travel through rural areas that do not have sufficient resources. If you have driven more than 250 miles, there is a good chance you have been in one of these areas. If you were in an auto accident, would the department in that area have the resources they needed to save you or your families’ life?
FireAid/EMSAid saves lives by taking excess firefighting and EMS equipment, refurbishing it, and donating it, free of charge, to departments that can’t afford it. The equipment is donated by other, more fortunate departments, different industries, and private individuals. We do this, so that those first responders have a better and safer ability to save lives, which may include their own. This recycling of equipment also helps the environment by ensuring that it is not discarded and does not end up in the landfill.
Your donation of used equipment of all sorts could make a real difference for a less fortunate department, please contact us to donate any equipment you no longer need. Additionally your financial contribution is important in helping us pick up, refurbish and deliver this life saving equipment.
